This service involves a call between the assessing clinician and a HealthRev Partners certified OASIS coder following the completion of the OASIS assessment. The purpose of this call is to assist the clinician in scoring the OASIS accurately.Based on the needs of the client, our experts can also assist with developing the Plan of Care to ensure compliance. Coding will then be completed by HealthRev Partners to align with the focus of care. The goal of an Educational OASIS is to promote clinician proficiency and efficiency, by improving OASIS scoring accuracy which will result in compliance with timely submission of documentation.
The Rapid OASIS review
The purpose of a Rapid OASIS Review is to save the clinician time with documentation. This service involves the clinician calling after the completion of the OASIS assessment and leaving a comprehensive report of their assessment findings during their visit. A HealthRev Partners dual-certified reviewer then reviews the report along with any additional referral/MD documentation, and suggestions are made on how best to score the OASIS accurately to capture an accurate clinical picture of the patient. Based on the agency’s needs, our experts can also make recommendations with developing the Plan of Care to ensure compliance.
